Gopherwood School

Academic Levels

Crèche

Focuses on foundational skills through play-based learning, covering basic language development, early math concepts (colours, shapes), and sensory exploration. The curriculum emphasises social-emotional development, motor skills, and creative expression to prepare children for formal schooling.

🌱

Pre-School

Introduces structured learning through group activities, focusing on vocabulary building, basic concepts, and social skills like taking turns and following simple routines. Learning happens through repetitive songs, hands-on exploration, and short-attention-span activities.

🏫

Foundation School

The Nursery curriculum includes traditional subjects like maths, language skills, and PSED integrated through play-based learning centres. Children are introduced to animals, nature, cleanliness, and hygiene concepts under Montessori-trained teachers.

Primary School

Focuses on core subjects such as Numeracy, Science, Language Arts, and Social Studies, emphasising critical thinking and problem-solving. Subjects include English, Literacy, Computing, Humanities, History, Drama, Music, French, PE, Art, Science, and Religious Education.

🎓

College

Secondary education is divided into 3 years of JSS and 3 years of SSS. Students take Mathematics, English, Sciences, and CCA during JSS. Senior secondary offers both academic and vocational tracks, preparing students for tertiary education through specialised subject combinations and certification examinations.
